Application Instructions for Low Gear-Heavy Low pH Foaming Wash

Low Gear-Heavy is a powerful, low pH cleaner. Exercise caution during application. This product is intended for professional use or by experienced individuals.

Safety Precautions:

• Wear Gloves & Eye Protection: Always wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection (goggles or face shield) to prevent skin and eye irritation.
• Test in Inconspicuous Area: ALWAYS test Low Gear-Heavy on a small, hidden section of the vehicle before full application. Check for compatibility with specific finishes, especially on polished metals, anodized parts, or delicate paint types. While generally safe for clear coats, testing is prudent.
• Do Not Let Dry: Never allow Low Gear-Heavy to dry on the surface. This can cause etching or permanent damage.
• Work on Cool Surfaces Only: Apply to vehicles that are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight. High temperatures will accelerate drying.

   • Add 4 oz of Low Gear-Heavy to your foam cannon reservoir.
   • Fill the remainder of the reservoir with water.
3. Apply Foam: With your foam cannon, generously spray the Low Gear-Heavy foam over the entire wet vehicle, ensuring complete, uniform coverage of all surfaces.
4. Allow to Dwell: Allow the foam to dwell on the surface for 3-5 minutes. This allows the low pH formula to penetrate and dissolve mineral deposits and light rust.
5. Crucially, do not allow the foam to dry on the vehicle at any point. For stubborn areas, a quick, gentle scrub with a long-handled, soft-bristled brush can aid in breaking down the toughest mineral stains during the dwell time
6. Do NOT Rinse Yet: After the dwell time, do NOT rinse Low Gear-Heavy off. Proceed immediately to the second step of the touchless wash.
7. Proceed to High pH Wash: Immediately apply your high pH foaming wash (e.g., High Gear-Heavy) directly over the Low Gear-Heavy foam. The two solutions will react on the surface, providing a powerful cleaning action.

  • Rinse Thoroughly (CRITICAL):
  • After the dwell time, rinse the entire vehicle thoroughly with a powerful stream of water from top to bottom. Ensure all product and loosened contaminants are completely flushed from every surface, nook, and cranny. Spend ample time rinsing, as complete removal of the low pH solution is essential.
  • Inspect & Repeat (If Necessary):
  • After rinsing, inspect the vehicle for any remaining hard water spots or mineral stains. If necessary, a second, lighter application with agitation and immediate, thorough rinsing can be performed, but only if the surface is still cool and wet.
  • Final Rinse: Give the entire vehicle a final, comprehensive rinse to ensure no residue remains.
