Application Instructions for High Gear-Heavy High pH Foaming Wash

High Gear-Heavy is a very powerful, high pH cleaner. Extreme caution and strict adherence to safety protocols are paramount during application. This product is intended for professional use or by experienced individuals.

Safety Precautions (CRITICAL):

• ALWAYS WEAR APPROPRIATE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE):
  • Chemical-Resistant Gloves: Nitrile gloves are essential.
  • Eye Protection: Chemical splash goggles or a face shield are mandatory.
  • Respiratory Protection: A respirator or mask is highly recommended in poorly ventilated areas.
  • Protective Clothing: Wear long sleeves and pants to protect skin.
• ALWAYS TEST IN AN INCONSPICUOUS AREA FIRST: Before widespread use on any new surface, always test High Gear-Heavy on a small, hidden section to ensure compatibility with your specific vehicle finishes, especially on polished aluminum, anodized, or sensitive painted surfaces. Damage or dulling can occur if left on too long or used at too high a concentration.
• DO NOT LET DRY: Never allow High Gear-Heavy to dry on the surface. This can cause etching or permanent damage.

Application Method: Foam Cannon (Recommended for Heavy Equipment)

This method ensures optimal coverage and dwell time for breaking down heavy grime.

1. Prepare Vehicle: For extremely heavy mud or loose debris, a preliminary high-pressure rinse can be beneficial to remove the heaviest layers. Ensure the vehicle remains thoroughly wet.
2. Prepare Foam Cannon:

• • For heavy equipment, pour 2-4oz of High Gear-Heavy into your foam cannon reservoir. Fill the remainder of the reservoir with warm water. Adjust concentration based on desired foam thickness and cleaning power.
    

1. Apply Foam: With your foam cannon, generously spray the High Gear-Heavy foam over the entire vehicle, ensuring complete, uniform coverage of all contaminated surfaces. Focus on lower panels, wheel wells, and areas with heavy buildup.
2. Allow to Dwell: Allow the foam to dwell on the surface for 3-5 minutes. This allows the high pH formula to penetrate and emulsify heavy grime. Crucially, do not allow the foam to dry on the vehicle at any point. For stubborn areas, a quick, gentle scrub with a long-handled, stiff-bristled brush can aid in breaking down the toughest dirt during the dwell time.
3. Rinse Thoroughly:
   • After the dwell time, rinse the entire vehicle thoroughly with a powerful stream of water from bottom to top. Ensure all product and loosened contaminants are completely flushed from every surface, nook, and cranny. Spend ample time rinsing, as complete removal of the high pH solution is essential.
4. Inspect & Repeat (If Necessary):
   • After rinsing, inspect the vehicle for any remaining heavy grime or streaks. For extremely stubborn areas, a second, lighter application with agitation and immediate, thorough rinsing can be performed, but only if the surface is still cool and wet.
5. Final Rinse: Give the entire vehicle a final, comprehensive rinse to ensure no residue remains, especially in crevices and undercarriage areas.
6. Dry (Optional but Recommended): For best appearance and to prevent water spots, dry the vehicle using appropriate methods for heavy equipment (e.g., blowers, large drying towels, or air drying in a low-dust environment).

Second Step Foam Wash (For Touchless Wash System)

Provides an extra layer of cleaning power, perfect even for vehicles with moderate to heavy soiling, used as a second step to applying Low Gear-Heavy Low pH foam.

1. Prepare Foam Cannon: Pour 2-4 oz (60-120ml) of High Gear-Heavy into your foam cannon reservoir. Fill the remainder with warm water.
2. Apply Foam: After applying Low Gear-Heavy Low pH foaming wash, with your foam cannon, generously spray High Gear-Heavy foam over the entire vehicle.
3. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the vehicle thoroughly from bottom to top with high-pressure water until all foam and contaminants are removed.
4. Proceed to Drying/Protection: Proceed to drying the vehicle or applying a drying aid/protection product.
