Application Instructions for High Gear High pH Foaming Wash

High Gear is a highly versatile and powerful cleaner. Always use as directed and follow safety precautions. Best results are achieved on cool surfaces and out of direct sunlight.

Application Methods:

Method 1: Dedicated Wheel Wash Bucket (For Heavily Soiled Wheels)

Ideal for breaking down severe brake dust and road grime on wheels and tires.

1. Prepare Solution: In a dedicated wheel wash bucket, dilute 1oz of High Gear per gallon of water. Adjust concentration based on the severity of contamination.
2. Rinse Wheels: Thoroughly rinse wheels and tires with strong water pressure to remove loose dirt and cool down the surfaces.
3. Apply with Brush: Using a clean, dedicated wheel brush (safe for your wheel type) or wash mitt, agitate the solution onto the wheel barrels, faces, and tire sidewalls. Ensure complete coverage.
4. Allow to Dwell: Allow the solution to dwell for 1-2 minutes. For very heavy contamination, light agitation during this dwell time can help. Do not let the product dry on the wheels.
5. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse wheels and tires thoroughly with high-pressure water, ensuring all product and loosened contaminants are flushed away. Move quickly to avoid drying.
6. Repeat if Necessary: For extremely stubborn brake dust, a second application and agitation may be necessary.

Method 2: Pre-Soak Foam (Before Traditional Hand Wash)

Creates a thick, clinging foam to loosen and encapsulate dirt before hand washing, reducing the risk of scratching.

1. Prepare Foam Cannon: Pour 2-4oz of High Gear into your foam cannon reservoir. Fill the remainder of the reservoir with warm water. Adjust concentration based on desired foam thickness and cleaning power.
2. Apply Foam: With your foam cannon, generously spray High Gear foam over the entire vehicle, ensuring complete, thick coverage.
3. Allow to Dwell: Allow the foam to dwell on the surface for 3-5 minutes. This allows the high pH formula to break down and lift contaminants. Do not allow the foam to dry on the vehicle.
4. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the vehicle thoroughly from top to bottom with high-pressure water, flushing away as much loosened dirt as possible.
5. Proceed to Hand Wash: After rinsing the pre-soak foam, proceed with your traditional two-bucket hand wash using a pH-neutral car soap.

Method 3: Second Step Foam Wash (For Touchless Wash System)

Provides an extra layer of cleaning power, perfect even for vehicles with moderate to heavy soiling, used as a second step to applying Low Gear Low pH foam.

1. Prepare Foam Cannon: Pour 2-4 oz (60-120ml) of High Gear into your foam cannon reservoir. Fill the remainder with warm water.
2. Apply Foam: After applying Low Gear Low pH foaming wash, with your foam cannon, generously spray High Gear foam over the entire vehicle.
3. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the vehicle thoroughly from bottom to top with high-pressure water until all foam and contaminants are removed.
4. Proceed to Drying/Protection: Proceed to drying the vehicle or applying a drying aid/protection product.

• Cool Surfaces: Always work on a cool vehicle surface to maximize dwell time and prevent drying.
