Application Instructions for Element Vinyl & Rubber Dressing

Element is a ready-to-use dressing designed for effortless application across various surfaces. For best results, ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application. Work on cool surfaces and out of direct sunlight.

Safety Precautions:

• Avoid Slippery Surfaces: Do not apply to surfaces where slipperiness could be hazardous (e.g., steering wheels, brake/accelerator pedals, foot pedals, motorcycle seats or tires, steering wheel grips, floor mats).

Application Method:

1. Clean Surface Thoroughly: For optimal results, ensure the surface you are treating is clean and free of dirt, dust, old dressings, or contaminants. Use an appropriate interior cleaner (Core) or all purpose cleaner (Atlas at 1:20 for interiors) and allow the surface to dry completely before applying Element.
2. Shake Well: Shake the bottle of Element thoroughly before each use to ensure the product is well mixed.
3. Apply to Applicator (Recommended for Most Surfaces): For optimal control and to prevent overspray, lightly mist Element directly onto a clean, soft foam or microfiber applicator pad. This is especially important for interior surfaces.
   • For larger exterior rubber surfaces (like tires): You can spray directly onto the clean, dry surface, ensuring even coverage.
4. Spread Evenly: Gently and evenly spread the product over the entire surface using your applicator pad. Work in small, manageable sections to ensure uniform coverage.
5. Allow to Penetrate (Briefly): Allow the product to dwell for a few moments (30-60 seconds) to allow it to penetrate and bond with the surface.
6. Wipe Off Excess: Immediately wipe off any excess product with a separate, clean, dry microfiber towel. This step is crucial for achieving a uniform, non-greasy, and natural finish. Buff lightly until the surface is dry to the touch and has the desired sheen.
7. Repeat if Desired: For enhanced protection or a deeper, richer look, a second thin coat can be applied after the first coat has fully set (usually 10-15 minutes).

Specific Surface Tips:

• Interior Plastics & Vinyl: Apply sparingly to an applicator and wipe. Buff off excess for a factory-fresh satin look.
• Exterior Rubber & Trim: Spray directly onto the surface or onto an applicator. Ensure even coverage and wipe away any excess from painted surfaces immediately.
• Tires: Apply to a dedicated tire dressing applicator. Spread evenly. For a less glossy, more natural look, wipe off excess after a few minutes.
• Finished Leather: Apply sparingly to a clean microfiber towel and gently wipe onto finished leather seats, dashboards, or trim. Buff gently. (Note: This product is designed for finished or coated leather, not raw, unsealed, or suede leathers. Always test first.)
• Wood Items (Interior Trim): Apply a very small amount to a clean, soft microfiber towel and gently wipe onto the wood trim. Buff lightly with a separate, clean, dry towel to enhance luster.
