Application Instructions for Reset Wheel, Tire & Bug Cleaner Concentrate

Reset is a powerful concentrate. Always dilute as directed and work on cool surfaces. Test in an inconspicuous area first, especially on delicate finishes.

Safety Precautions:

• Do Not Let Dry: Never allow Reset to dry on the surface. Work in small sections and rinse thoroughly.
• Work on Cool Surfaces: Always apply to cool wheels, tires, and paintwork. Avoid direct sunlight.

Dilution Ratios (Examples - Adjust to Your Needs):

• 1:1 (1 part Reset to 1 part water): For extremely heavy brake dust, severe tire browning, or dried, caked-on bug splatter.
• 5:1 (1 part Reset to 5 parts water): For heavy wheel and tire cleaning, or significant bug accumulation. This is our standard recommendation for trigger sprayer application.
• 10:1 (1 part Reset to 10 parts water): For general wheel and tire cleaning, moderate bug removal, or maintenance.  With a foaming pump sprayer, this hits the sweet spot.

Application Methods:

Method 1: Wheels & Tires

Effectively breaks down brake dust, road grime, and tire browning.

1. Prepare Solution: In a dedicated wheel bucket or spray bottle, dilute Reset with water according to your desired strength (e.g., 5:1 for heavy cleaning)
2. Apply Solution:
   • Sprayer: Spray the diluted solution directly onto one wheel and tire at a time, ensuring complete coverage.
3. Allow to Dwell: Allow the solution to dwell for 1-3 minutes. For very heavy contamination, light agitation with a dedicated wheel brush or tire brush can significantly enhance cleaning. Do not let the product dry on the wheels or tires.
4. Agitate (Optional but Recommended): For best results, use appropriate brushes (wheel brushes for barrels/faces, tire brushes for sidewalls) to agitate the solution, especially in stubborn areas.
5. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse wheels and tires thoroughly with high-pressure water, ensuring all product and loosened contaminants are flushed away. Move quickly to avoid drying.
6. Repeat if Necessary: For extremely stubborn contamination, a second application and agitation may be necessary.

Method 2: Bug & Insect Remover

Rapidly dissolves dried insect remains from paint, glass, and plastic.

1. Prepare Solution: In a clean spray bottle, dilute Reset with water (e.g., 5:1 for heavy bug splatter, 10:1 for lighter residue).
2. Spray Affected Area: Lightly mist the diluted solution directly onto the bug-laden areas of paintwork, glass, or plastic (e.g., front bumper, mirrors, windshield).
3. Allow to Dwell: Allow the product to dwell for 1-2 minutes. You will see the bug residue begin to soften and dissolve. Do not let the product dry on the surface.
4. Rinse or Wipe:
   • For Heavy Buildup: Rinse the area thoroughly with a strong stream of water.
   • For Lighter Residue: Gently wipe the softened bug splatter away with a clean, soft microfiber towel. Flip the towel frequently.
5. Follow Up: After removing bug residue from paint, it's recommended to follow up with a traditional wash or a waterless wash for complete cleanliness, especially before applying any protection.

Tips for Best Results:
